Mediagramming in preparation of social sphere specialists

Abstract

Effective and secure interaction in the media system is an urgent need of today. The article is intended to cover the topic of media literacy in the training of social professionals. The article discusses the idea of developing standards and educational literacy programs for higher education teachers and applicants. The materials also analyze the notion of "media literacy" in the interpretation of modern scholars, noted on a number of features of media literacy specialists in the social sphere, namely: the inclusion of information materials on media in the basic disciplines of the curriculum; motivation in the study of the modern media system; self-development of higher education applicants through the mass media; striving for media creation through media resources; enriching media experience and creating your own media filters to critically process media resources for further professional activity. The publication also outlines media literacy effectiveness factors such as: attracting more students; organization of teacher for training; intensification of interaction of participants of the educational process with external resources; increasing student attention to content; creation and interaction with practitioners; the ability to find a range of resources for further professional activity.
